A Tarkov "best gun" is a moving target of recoil patterns, modding ceilings, trader availability and price-per-raid. The meta build everyone copies is only meta until the next balance or economy change.
This board ranks weapon platforms for the current patch, by community vote. Judge the platform at realistic kit budgets — not just the 800k lab-raid build.
One vote per entry (change anytime), recency-weighted so the list tracks the current patch, minimum votes before ranking, re-tabulated live. New boards start from a clearly-labeled expert baseline until real votes take over — displayed counts only ever include player votes. No win-rate scraping, no single expert. Full methodology →

New boards start from a clearly-labeled expert baseline; from there every player vote re-ranks the list live: roughly one vote per entry per person (changeable anytime), recency-weighted so the list tracks the current patch, with a minimum of votes before an entry is ranked. Displayed counts only ever include real player votes.
