Ammo is Tarkov's real power system: the round in your mag matters more than the gun around it. Pen values are public, but availability, price and felt performance against real armor tiers are what decide what's actually worth loading.
This board ranks rounds across all calibers for the current patch. Spreadsheets rank penetration; this ranks what players actually trust their raids to. Vote by caliber-relative strength.
One vote per entry (change anytime), recency-weighted so the list tracks the current patch, minimum votes before ranking, re-tabulated live. New boards start from a clearly-labeled expert baseline until real votes take over — displayed counts only ever include player votes. No win-rate scraping, no single expert. Full methodology →
