As of Aug 26, 2026 (Midnight Season 2 · patch 12.1), Balance Druid, Retribution Paladin, Subtlety Rogue, Guardian Druid lead the S tier in WoW: Midnight Battlegrounds DPS Tier List — an expert-seeded baseline with no player votes yet. Every vote re-ranks the board live.
Arcane Mage↓ fallingDemonology Warlock↓ fallingGuardian Druid↑ risingRated Battlegrounds flip the priorities to AoE, mobility, utility and objective control, and the board changes shape completely. Balance Druid tops the damage on spread pressure and utility, Subtlety Rogue owns node play and stealth caps, and Marksmanship Hunter, Devastation Evoker and Elemental Shaman climb well above their arena standing. Flag carriers matter just as much, so we fold in the tanks that genuinely carry at rating: Guardian Druid leads as the premier carrier, with Blood Death Knight and Protection Warrior close behind as A-tier options.
Single-target, setup-reliant specs fade — Fire Mage and Windwalker lose the pocket-healed kill windows that carry them in arena, and Augmentation is dead weight without a coordinated core. Everything below is ranked for the Rated BG bracket only under Midnight Season 1 (patch 12.0.7 Revelations), as voted by the community. If your favorite is criminally underrated here, that's what the vote buttons are for.
