Umamusume: Pretty Derby is Cygames' horse-girl racing gacha in which you coach Umamusume (Uma Musume) trainees through multi-year careers, then field them in Team Trials and the monthly Champions Meeting PvP. The global server launched in June 2025 and celebrated its 1st Anniversary on June 26, 2026 — it runs behind Japan on an accelerated catch-up schedule, so its meta is very much its own. (That catch-up is why Cygames brands the July 2026 event the in-game 1.5-Year Anniversary even though the server itself is just over a year old: it marks where global's content timeline has reached, not how long global has existed.) Winning is a three-layer puzzle: the trainee you pick, the six-card support deck that shapes her stats and skill pool, and the skills you actually spend your limited skill points on. As of late July 2026 the defining change is Brighter Together: Our Grand Concert — the fourth permanent career scenario, live since July 22, which raises the stat caps that Trackblazer-era builds were designed around.
