Pokémon GO is Niantic's augmented-reality mobile game where players walk the real world to catch Pokemon, battle in Gyms and Raids, and compete in the PvP GO Battle League. Its two competitive pillars are PvP, spanning the Great, Ultra and Master Leagues each with a CP cap, and PvE Raids, where teams of trainers burn down powerful bosses for rare catches. The meta shifts constantly as Niantic runs roughly three-month seasons, rebalances moves, and releases new species, Mega Evolutions and Shadow Pokemon.
