FAQ
Which Age of Empires IV tier list should I use?
There is one live board: Civilization Tier List. Every tier on it is voted by players and re-tabulated as votes land.
What's S-tier in Age of Empires IV right now?
As of Patch 16.2.10604 · live build 16.3.11308 · Season Fourteen, Knights Templar, Macedonian Dynasty, Zhu Xi's Legacy lead the S tier on the Civilization Tier List. The full tier list updates live as votes land.
How often are Age of Empires IV tier lists updated?
Continuously — tiers re-tabulate as votes land, and the last ranking change was 10d ago. When a new patch drops, boards roll forward so votes rank the current version, not last season's.
How are Age of Empires IV tiers decided?
By player votes. Each visitor rates entries S, A, B or C, and every board re-bands from the blended community score. New boards start from a clearly-labeled expert baseline until enough real votes arrive — displayed counts only ever include player votes. Full methodology →
