As of Aug 20, 2026 (Version 3.1 · The Long Goodbye), Remielle, Ye Shunguang, Norma, Lucia lead the S tier in Zenless Zone Zero Agent Tier List — an expert-seeded baseline with no player votes yet. Every vote re-ranks the board live.
This tier list ranks every released playable Agent in Zenless Zone Zero by their value in the game's two rotating endgame modes — Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault — where clear times and score multipliers separate the true meta from the merely fun. Ratings assume Mindscape 0 and blend raw damage, daze and buff output, and how well each Agent anchors or enables a modern team.
The current meta rewards complete squads over solo carries. Among Attack Agents, Ye Shunguang and Version 3.1 debutante Sigrid headline the crit pack, with Pyrois the F2P-friendly third, while Anomaly is stacked with Version 3.1 headliner Remielle — the first Lumiflux Agent — alongside Miyabi, Aria, Promeia, and the debuff-centric Velina. The newer Rupture specialty fields Yixuan, Yidhari, and Banyue as Sheer Force heavyweights. On the enabler side, Stun standouts Dialyn, Ju Fufu, Norma, Nangong Yu, and Trigger define modern rotations; Support pillars Astra Yao, Yuzuha, Sunna, and Lucia elevate everything they touch; and Defense hybrids like Zhao and Caesar blur the line between tank and buffer.
Don't sleep on the A-Ranks: Nicole remains one of the best free supports in the game, Pan Yinhu is a budget anchor for Rupture teams, and Piper, Soukaku, and Manato still earn endgame spots in the right comps. Remember that placements assume Mindscape 0 — ZZZ's constellation equivalent — and higher Mindscapes can lift an Agent a full tier, so weigh your own investment before judging a placement.
Baseline tiers were re-anchored on July 29, 2026 for Version 3.1 against two independent endgame lists: Prydwen's Shiyu Defense + Deadly Assault tier list (updated the same day) and Icy Veins' Version 3.1 endgame list (updated July 27-28). Each source's bands are scored by position, summed, and cut to this board's S/A/B/C capacity, so placement reflects where both sources rank an Agent relative to the rest of the roster rather than either list's raw letter. Where the two tie at a band edge, the tiebreak is documented: an Agent Prydwen itself flags "Watchlist [DOWN]" yields the slot, and because Prydwen grades A-Rank Agents at Mindscape 6 while this board assumes Mindscape 0, an A-Rank yields to an S-Rank. Remielle debuts at S, rated top tier by both. From here it's the community's call — if your main is criminally underrated, that's what the vote buttons are for.
