The lower rail is where an assault rifle build is won or lost. The grip decides how a full-auto spray actually feels, and the options pull in different directions: the Tilted Grip cuts vertical and horizontal recoil plus camera shake at once for the smoothest all-round spray, the Half Grip shaves recoil on both axes and absorbed the old Angled Foregrip's horizontal role in the Update 41.1 rework, and the Vertical Foregrip still trades everything for raw vertical control on high-kick guns. The Light Grip leans into steadiness and reduced sway, the Thumb Grip into faster ADS. The 'best' grip genuinely depends on the gun and the range you fight at, so the Tilted-vs-Half debate never fully settles. This board is the community's overall AR pick across the roster.
This board ranks every grip for assault rifles as voted by the community. If your go-to grip is criminally underrated here, that's what the vote buttons are for.
One vote per entry (change anytime), recency-weighted so the list tracks the current patch, minimum votes before ranking, re-tabulated live. New boards start from a clearly-labeled expert baseline until real votes take over — displayed counts only ever include player votes. No win-rate scraping, no single expert. Full methodology →
