Rotating Regulation Sets refresh the legal roster every couple of months and decide which Pokémon and Mega Evolutions are allowed — Regulation M-B, live since June 17, 2026, added 22 new Pokémon and 16 new Mega Evolutions — including brand-new forms like Mega Raichu Y and Mega Staraptor. Because the roster and the rules rotate together, the meta reshuffles hard at every regulation change.
