Lightweight is the deepest and most contested division in EA Sports UFC 6 ranked, and the meta splits three ways at the top. Ilia Topuria is the division's highest-rated fighter (94.5 stat average, with 99 Punch Power, 97 Punch Speed and a 96 Chin) and his Tiger and Hunter perks reward exactly what online players do anyway — walk forward and force pocket exchanges. Khabib Nurmagomedov is the grappling nightmare: chain wrestling, smothering top control and momentum-building Flow triggers in a game where wrestlers are widely considered the strongest ranked archetype. Max Holloway rounds out the elite as one of the game's five-star fighters, built around sustained volume and pressure-based Flow State generation that grinds blocks and stamina down.
Behind them, Charles Oliveira threatens submission chains from every position, Justin Gaethje is the community's favorite pick for raw kickboxing pressure and leg-kick damage, and Edson Barboza and Arman Tsarukyan convert elite official numbers into real online results — Barboza with the fastest kicks in the division, Tsarukyan with a strong wrestle-striker mix. The B-tier is full of dangerous stylists: Poirier's boxing, Chandler's blitzes, Gamrot's takedown chains, Ruffy's flashy counters and prime Tony Ferguson's cardio-monster pressure.
One warning about official fighter ratings: they don't map cleanly onto practical strength. Clay Guida is top-five in the division by raw stat average, but almost nobody fears a Guida player in ranked — while Khabib sits outside the statistical top five and is arguably the single most oppressive pick here. Tiers below the community-consensus names follow EA's official ratings order as the fallback.
Disagree with the order? That's the point — vote the frauds down and push your division king to the top.
