Dota 2 Tier Lists
Dota 2 patches rework the game at a depth no other MOBA attempts, and the hero meta reforms for months afterwards. This board is the community's running verdict on who's worth picking in ranked right now.
FAQ
Which Dota 2 tier list should I use?
There are 5 live boards: Hero Tier List, Carry Tier List, Mid Tier List, Support Tier List, Offlane Tier List. Start with the Hero Tier List — it has the most player ratings — then check the scenario that matches how you play.
What's S-tier in Dota 2 right now?
As of Patch 7.41e, Shadow Fiend, Spectre, Invoker lead the S tier on the Hero Tier List. The full tier list updates live as votes land.
How often are Dota 2 tier lists updated?
Continuously — tiers re-tabulate as votes land, and the last ranking change was 5d ago. When a new patch drops, boards roll forward so votes rank the current version, not last season's.
How are Dota 2 tiers decided?
By player votes. Each visitor rates entries S, A, B or C, and every board re-bands from the blended community score. New boards start from a clearly-labeled expert baseline until enough real votes arrive — displayed counts only ever include player votes. Full methodology →
