The game is now on Patch 2.5 (September 2, 2026), which turned on Ranked Mode 1.0, added a separate queue for players whose disconnect rate passes 20%, and adjusted nine of the twelve fighters — most notably a Katara nerf (EX Kara Cancel Rekka removed), a Kyoshi buff (flow-stance evasion on all high attacks) and an Avatar Aang Final Technique that now instantly defeats an unbalanced opponent. It is the second balance pass, not the first: an August 5 update had already taken Azula's jump cancel into stand throw, corrected Katara's cancels and removed Nightmare Korra's Wildfire Splitter hard knockdown. All twelve launch fighters are on the board — the ten drawn from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra plus Avatar Aang and Nightmare Korra, which the game ships as their own roster slots rather than as stances of the base characters.
The slate is anchored to six dated tier lists — Sportskeeda, AllThings.How (July 25), Destructoid (July 26), Operation Sports (July 28), Pocket Tactics (August 8) and the personal list CEO 2026 winner XCaliburBladez posted on August 22 — averaged and then cut at this board's band sizes. Azula and Korra top every one of them; AllThings.How goes furthest and gives Azula a "God" tier of her own above S. The bottom is where the sources fight: Pocket Tactics rates Zuko and Sokka A while four other lists put them B or C, and Kyoshi sits at B or C everywhere except the CEO list, which has her S — she also made the CEO top 8 and was buffed in Patch 2.5, so she is the most likely name on this board to be underrated.
Every one of those lists predates Patch 2.5, so none of them has reacted to the Katara nerf or the Kyoshi buff, and Ranked Mode only switched on with that patch — the competitive read on this roster is still young.
